This is the first in a three-part series of events with European Movement Ireland in 2021 offering a range of different perspectives on the issues, opportunities and relationships that impact Ireland, the UK and the EU. Featuring, high-level speakers from Ireland, the UK, across the EU and beyond, these events will focus on areas for potential cooperation, mutual challenges and practical solutions.

Our first online event will look at Ireland – UK - EU relations post-Brexit, focusing on areas of potential cooperation and protecting the Good Friday Agreement. We will assess the future prospects of the EU – UK relationship, including Ireland’s role, and examine how UK bilateral relations with other EU member states, particularly Germany, are likely to evolve. With a new Conference on the Future of Europe on the horizon, we will also discuss whether Brexit will change the dynamics of future EU integration efforts.
