Details

India has a long land border of more than 15,000 km. They touch six countries, namely, Bangladesh, Bhutan, China, Myanmar, Nepal and Pakistan. While so much is known and discussed in respect of India’s strategic, political and economic relations with these nations, not enough is known how the people who live in the bordering districts in India fare in terms of their cultural and economic interactions with people across. This workshop aims to close this thematic gap and will address the issue of interactions between cross border populations for two days.
