Focus on the future of transatlantic relations

On November 7, the Allianz Forum at Pariser Platz 6 in Berlin will ceremoniously open its doors for the 15th Europe Speech. A few days after the US presidential elections, we will be looking at the future of the European-American partnership and its impact on EU foreign policy.

David McAllister, Chairman of the European Parliament's Committee on Foreign Affairs, will give this year's speech. He will analyze the political consequences of the US elections for Europe and provide impulses for a future-proof EU foreign policy.

The speech will be followed by a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Christian Johann, Director of the European Academy Berlin. David McAllister will be joined by Dr. Emily Haber, former German ambassador to the USA, and Prof. Dr. Carlo Masala, Professor of International Politics at the Faculty of Political and Social Sciences at the University of the Federal Armed Forces in Munich, who will share their views.

The event is aimed at a broad audience - interested citizens, political decision-makers and representatives from the media, business, science and civil society are invited.

The Europe Speech is being held in cooperation with Allianz SE, the Schwarzkopf Foundation Young Europe and the European Academy Berlin.

 

Admission

Due to the high demand, the registration list is unfortunately already closed. The number of registrations so far exceeds the actual capacity. Please note that online registration is a prerequisite for attending the Europe Speech, but does not guarantee admission. Registered persons will be admitted to the venue on a first come, first served basis. We therefore recommend that you arrive early to ensure that you can experience the Europe Speech at the Allianz Forum. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration. This will enable others to attend.
