Catholic Justice and Peace Comission (CJCP)
The Justice and Peace Commission is the executive organ of the Kenya Episcopal Conference for Justice and Peace issues. The objectives of the Justice and Peace Commission will be:1. To approve the contents of formation programs and Lenten campaign2. To discuss and make decisions on publications of the social teachings of the Church in order to make them available in simple format and language3. To work for the eradication of Injustice wherever it is seen to exist , 4. Advice, encouragement and support to the diocesan CJPC and other groups involved in justice and peace issues.5. To Cooperate with other institutions, e.g. the Konrad Adenauer Foundation, churches and peoples in the spirit of Christian Unity.The Partnership with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation has centered around two main areas: 1. Constitution review2. Devolution

Kenya African National Union
Since independence, KANU has nurtured politicians in Kenya and has made enormous contribution to political development in Kenya. Big names in Kenya’s political History; Jomo Kenyatta, Daniel Moi, Tom Mboya, Jaramogi Odinga, George Saitoti, Kalonzo Musyoka, Raila Odinga, Uhuru Kenyatta, William Ruto among many other politicians sharpened their political acumen while serving in Kanu. At a time when KANU was at the country’s leadership helm, competitive elections were held often within the one-party framework. Between 1969 and 1982, Kenya retained "a system of open party primaries, in which aspirant candidates were free to contest which ensured a high level of competition within the party promoting internal democracy across board. KANU’s party hierarchy was instrumental in establishment of the multi-party democracy with the Repeal of Section 2A of Kenya’s Constitution in 1992 heralding a new era in Kenya’s political scene.

ANC Party was founded in 2015 by H. E. Musalia Mudavadi. The party was established to reclaim, defend and advance the rights of Kenyan people to a dignified, peaceful, just, well devolved and governed society. The party believes that power belong to and stems from the people at the grassroots.

Kenya Young Parliamentarians Association
The Kenya young parliamentarians association is a body that was formed in the year 2004 as an association of the 9th parliament with the goal of building the capacity and enhancing the participation of young leaders in parliament. With the introduction of the senate in 2013 due to the passing of the new constitution, the association incorporated young Senators into its membership.

Kenya Institute of Puppet Theatre
KIPT has implemented several artistic puppetry programmes including on HIV and AIDS, Environment Conservation, Good Governance, Human Rights/Democracy, Constitution Education, Peace and Cohesion, Mother Child Health (MCH), Sexual Reproductive Health /Rights (SRHR), Gender Based Violence, FGM, Deaf/Dumb Programmes among others funded by different donors and embassies.

Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI)
The Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI) is a membership based trade support institution (TSI) working to protect commercial and industrial interests of Kenyan business community. KNCCI advocates for the creation of a favorable commercial, trade and investment environment that supports enterprise expansion. The membership of KNCCI constitutes small, micro enterprises (MSEs), medium and large enterprises.

The Inter Party Youth Forum (IPYF) was established to provide a platform for constructive dialogue and to strengthen the participation of youth within and across political parties. Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK)
The Association of Media Women in Kenya (AMWIK) is a national media Association established in 1983. AMWIK membership comprises female employees of various media houses, public relations professionals, independent content producers, students of journalism and communication and employees of non-governmental organizations and other institutions who have a background study in communication.AMWIK recognizes that gender inequality and inequity undermines development. Thus, AMWIK particularly focuses on enhancing the visibility of women in the society and promoting their participation in leadership and decision-making.

National Democratic Institute (NDI)
NDI is a nonprofit, nonpartisan, nongovernmental organization that has supported democratic institutions and practices in every region of the world for more than three decades. NDI has supported Kenyan efforts to strengthen democratic institutions and advance democratic reforms since 1993. Programs initially provided skills training to women interested in politics and worked with nonpartisan civic groups to monitor elections.

The Kenya Land Alliance (KLA) formally a Trust and registered as a NGO in July 2013 was established to create an institutional mechanism to advocate for enabling land laws and policies in order to ensure secure and equitable access to land and natural resources in Kenya.

The Political Parties Disputes Tribunal (PPDT) is an independent quasi-judicial body with the mandate of resolving disputes arising from political parties’ activities.In addition to resolving disputes, the PPDT works closely with other stakeholders in the political process to promote issue-based politics and people-centered democracy in Kenya.

SIKOM
SIKOM is a regional network of community based organisations in the Greater Pokot region in North Western Kenya. It focuses on cross-border community dialogue and reconciliation, arms control and community policing.SIKOM is a word in Pokot language meaning “Coming together for a purpose”. Thus, SIKOM was formed to seek redress to the problems afflicting the pastoralists’ communities in West Pokot County and the neighbouring districts.

Media Development Association (MDA)
The Media Development Association (MDA) is an alumnus of graduates of University of Nairobi’s School of Journalism. It was formed in 1994 to provide journalists with a forum for exchanging ideas on how best to safeguard the integrity of their profession and to facilitate the training of media practitioners who play an increasingly crucial role in shaping the destiny of the country. The MDA is publishing in cooperation with the Konrad Adenauer Foundation the monthly KATIBA NEWS. This newsletter provides a critical analysis of democracy and governance issues in Kenya and also information on the Constitution Review Process.
Inuka Kenya NiSiSi
Inuka (“get up” – in Swahili) is a registered Kenyan organization whose mission is to facilitate the consolidation of a Kenyan identity that affirms the individual as an African and global citizen and empowers Kenyans to use information, express their views and – importantly – take initiative aimed at improving their lives and holding governments accountable. Inuka Kenya Ni SiSi Ltd’s mission is to empower Kenyan citizens to improve their lives and demand good governance as a means to achieve socio-economic growth and equality of opportunity among all Kenyans. In the process, Kenyans will understand that their shared experiences and hardships should bind them rather than divide them.

Kenya National Debate Council
Kenya National Debate Council(KNDC)is a non-profit making, non-partisan organization that was formed with a vision: “to build well equipped, informed, articulate and ethical citizens across the country and beyond.” In order to meet the vision, KNDC undertook a mission to “strengthen the capacity of young people to engage in public affairs and participate in solution seeking for various issues through structured and informative debates.” The following objectives were formulated: To Enhance debating and intellectual growth, liaise with debating clubs and other organization that promote debating activities, organize and coordinate debates activities throughout the year and provide skills and varied learning experiences necessary for active participation in deliberative democracy.
