A very good knowledge of the English language is desired. Other language skills as French and / or German (for Lebanese applicants) or Arabic (for international applicants) are of added value. Furthermore, applicants are expected to show flexibility, teamwork, responsibility and identification with the values of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung.
To maximize the benefits for all involved, the internship should normally last for at least 8 weeks; preferably for 12 weeks.
As the KAS office in Beirut grants no compensation for the internship, all costs of living including rent and transportation have to be borne by the applicants.
