The forum aims to encourage discussion on the role and participation of legislatures in the process of joining the European Union, with particular reference to the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia and its relationship with the European Parliament.
Mr. Daniel Braun, official representative of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in North Macedonia and Mr. Marko Troshanovski, President of the Institute for Democracy, will deliver the welcoming remarks.
Speakers at the conference are Mr. Goran Misovski, Vice-Speaker of the Assembly of the Republic of North Macedonia, Ms. Marion Walsmann, Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Republic of North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee, Mr. Aleksandar Nikoloski, President of the National Council for European Integrations, and Mr. Vladimir Bilčík, Member of the Delegation to the EU-Republic of North Macedonia Joint Parliamentary Committee.
The conference will be moderated by Mr. Zoran Nechev, Head of the Centre for European Integrations at the Institute for Democracy.
