German case study methodology training that is offered to German students on their under graduation is a useful technique for not just the continental legal system, but also for all codified statutes and legal systems.

After receiving a positive response to the three-day training for students of the Royal Academy of Judicial Professions (RAJP) in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, Head of the Rule of Law Programme Asia Marc Spitzkatz was invited to conduct a two day training programme on Case Study Methodology to selected Law faculty members of Cambodia.

Using 15 different exercises on basic Cambodian contractual law, the module focused on understanding the subsumption method of legal analysis and case-writing, aimed at assisting legal trainees develop a basic framework for future professional practicing.
