A new president promises political continuity
On 14 February, the first round of presidential and parliamentary elections will be held at national and regional level. In total, candidates from 17 parties are running for seats in the national parliament DPR RI and the 38 provincial parliaments. But the main focus of the election campaigns is on the presidential election. After all, the president plays a prominent role in Indonesia's political system.
