Book Academy
The main topics of the workshop series are critical thinking and writing as well as literature as interface to civic education. In the first seminar, author and critic David Gabunia introduced the authors, who were involved in the project as well as their novels in the respective historical and political contexts.
The Book Academy brings together students from different Georgian universities to discuss topics like violence, censorship and occupation in literature.
The participants from the Book Academy will discuss these topics with modern Georgian authors and review them in order to open up new perspectives on the democratization process in Georgia. This project will run until June 2019.
