From August to September 2020 the KAS office in Kabul in partnership with the Afghan Pajhwok News Agency organizes two-week media training courses for Afghan journalists.

​​​​​​​Die Trainings richten sich vor allem an ausgewählte afghanische Reporter und Korrespondenten, die in den verschiedenen Landesteilen und Provinzen Videomaterial produzieren.

In den Online-Trainings lernen die Journalisten professionelle Techniken der Videoproduktion, Kameraführung und Bild- und Tonbearbeitung. Mit den Trainings werden Fähigkeiten und Kenntnisse für einen besseren Online-Auftritt lokaler Medienanstalten und die professionelle Nutzung von Youtube-Kanälen geschult.

The trainings are mainly aimed at Afghan reporters and correspondents producing video footage in the different parts and provinces of the country.

In the online training sessions, the journalists learn professional techniques of video production, camera work, as well as image and sound editing. The trainings improve skills and convey knowledge for a better online presence of local media outlets and for the professional use of YouTube channels.

Two internationally renowned and awarded media experts have been hired as trainers for the trainings.
