The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Stefanie Brinkel, Resident Representative of KAS, and Mr. Ore Zaboulo, Representative of APDH. Both emphasized the crucial importance of transparency and citizen participation in public financial management.
The central focus of the event was the presentation of the book by Christophe Kouamé, a member of the scientific committee. He highlighted key challenges associated with a new approach to public finance in Côte d’Ivoire.
Following the presentation, a dynamic panel discussion took place on the theme “The Role of Civil Society in Promoting Transparency and Credibility in Public Finance.” Moderated by Anoh Acouba Nadine, the panel included experts such as Dr. Anderson Koffi, Christophe Kouamé, and Ms. Guina Lauraine. The discussion focused on strategies for strengthening financial governance and fostering greater citizen engagement in decision-making processes.
