The KAS Works Council represents the interests of colleagues towards the employer. At the same time, we are the employer’s contact and negotiating partner as legitimised by the staff. The Works Council is newly elected every four years by employees of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V. Our special legal status helps us to effectively represent their concerns.
We Talk with the Management
We are in contact with the Management or the Head of Human Resources. We are delighted about the respectful and trusting cooperation. In this way, a culture of company partnership has developed, which shapes the foundation’s work to be more positive while improving the working atmosphere.
Above All, We Speak to Our Staff
No less intensive are the discussions with colleagues who come to us with suggestions, criticism or problems. Hence, the Work Council always has a good overview of the situation and developments in the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e.V.
We Always Try to Find Solutions
We strive to initiate, support, influence, make transparent and explain procedures and decisions in the interests of staff. We thus also play a role in improving communication between staff and management.
We are committed to improving working conditions in the foundation, be it questions regarding grouping, working time models, health promotion, reconciling work and family life, gender equality issues or corporate culture etc.
We have already achieved a lot here in the past, yet these aspects remain an ongoing task requiring a lot of work.
With the works council magazine “KASpekte”, we provide colleagues with interesting information to read about the KAS’ global sphere of influence.
