Research - Labour shifting by 2030 in Vietnam to drive industrialisation and modernisation
The improvement of human resources is currently considered one of the breakthrough stages to ensure economic growth and achieve the goals of industrialization and modernization of the economy. The labor transition process in Vietnam has been relatively slow and is facing many bottlenecks such as training quality, skills, age factors, post- transition livelihoods... Labor transition also poses significant challenges from external factors such as technological development, the Fourth Industrial Revolution, international integration that changes production patterns and labor demands.
The Vietnam Institute for Development Strategies (VIDS), with the support of Konrad- Adenauer-Stiftung Vietnam (KAS) complied and published the research on “Labour Shifting by 2030 in Vietnam to drive industrialisation and modernisation”
