Détails
Achieving climate targets and the global energy transition requires international cooperation. For this reason, the German government has entered bilateral energy partnerships – among them the Canada-Germany Energy Partnership established in 2021.
The Canada-Germany Energy Partnership currently focuses on the hydrogen alliance, raw material security for the energy transition and the just transition. Due to increasing demand for raw materials, rising geopolitical tensions and intensifying (system) competition, this partnership will become ever more important.
In cooperation with the Atlantik-Brücke and together with the Canadian delegation of KAS Canada, we would like to take stock of the Canada-Germany Energy Partnership and discuss its further potential. The event "German-Canadian Energy and Raw Materials Partnership" will take place on June 27 from 13:00 to approximately 17:00 at the AXICA Kongress- und Tagungszentrum (Pariser Platz 3, 10117 Berlin).
