Digital connections are embedded in almost every aspect of our daily lives, transforming our social, economic and political world. While the added value of digital technologies has become self-evident, new technologies also probe our capability to manage them and their social and political consequences.

This workshop explored the future/s of digitalisation and the different perspectives of the state and non-state actors involved in building it. Using future thinking tools and methods, the participants analysed the complexity and tension between the different stakeholders in creating a desired future. The programme introduced futures thinking and explored the different perspectives of state and non-state actors on the future of digitalisation using the three horizons model.

The workshop was conducted by Cheryl Chung, Co-Director of the Executive Education department at the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
