The 2024 Africa Check Fellowship Programme provided the selected fellows with comprehensive training in fact-checking techniques, along with valuable mentoring and daily interactions with the Africa Check team. The fellows participated in sessions with experts on topics such as access to public information and investigative methods for addressing online disinformation.

This experience equipped them with the essential knowledge, skills, and tools for sourcing accurate and credible information. The programme offered in-depth training, practical experience and insights into operating a fact-checking organisation.
