Details
The project which we have been implementing during the past seven years aims to foster exchange and friendship between the countries in the region and is focused on bringing together students and young professionals, as well as academics and experts from the region in order to discuss and exchange experience on current topics, tackling mainly regional security and regional cooperation.
This year, the KAS will bring together students and academics from three countries in the region, i.e. from North Macedonia, Bulgaria and Serbia, who, during three days, will have the opportunity to discuss and exchange views on this very relevant topic, which concerns not only the countries in the region but whole Europe as well.
The official opening of the event will take place on the 07 April at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of North Macedonia, where the participants will be welcomed by the Foreign Minister Bujar Osmani.
The event will start with the welcoming remarks of Daniel Braun, Official representative of Konrad Adenauer Foundation Office in Skopje, Katerina Jakimovska from the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies and Dr. Marjan Gjurovski, Vice-Rector of the St. Kliment Ohridski University of Bitola.
Following speakers will have their addresses on the occasion of the official opening of the event:
H.E. Anke Holstein, Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to North Macedonia;
Fatmire Isaki, Deputy Minister of foreign affairs, Republic of North Macedonia;
Zvonko Mucunski, Ambassador, Republic of North Macedonia;
Pajo Avirovikj, Ambassador, Republic of North Macedonia.
The event will be organised in accordance with the current safety protocols for coronavirus protection.
