Introduction to Mongolia's foreign policy. The lecture will discuss Mongolia's relations vis-a-vis its two immediate neighbours and its so-called 'Third Neighbours'. Mongolia's role in the region and its endeavour to have a more active global foreign policy will also be explored. Furthermore, the reasoning behind certain policies as well as potential challenges to a stable foreign and security policy will be discussed.
