Wie führt man einen erfolgreichen Wahlkampf und wie findet die politische Kommunikation die richtigen Ausdrucksmittel, um die Botschaften an die Wähler zu bringen? Diese Fragen standen im Mittelpunkt der 24. Ausgabe der Internationalen Konferenz für Politische Kommunikation in Berlin. Es ging dabei um die Kampagnen rund um die jüngsten Landtagswahlen in Deutschland, die Parlamentswahlen in Österreich und die Präsidentschaftswahlen in den Vereinigten Staaten.

SEEMF 2024: Media and Elections – Professional and Political Challenges

The South East Europe Media Forum (SEEMF) took place in Podgorica, Montenegro on 27th and 28th of November 2024. It brought together more than 150 prominent media professionals, policymakers, and academics to address critical issues facing the press in the region and beyond. This year’s edition of the Forum was dedicated to Media and Elections.

Between 8th and 11th September 2024, the KAS Media Programme South East Europe hosted a conference with media professionals from the region, Germany and Switzerland.

BIRN Summer School 2024 fosters cross-border investigative collaboration in the Balkans and beyond

The BIRN Summer School of Investigative Reporting 2024 was held from 19th to 24th of August in Mlini (Croatia) bringing together over 35 journalists from Central and Eastern Europe and Uzbekistan.

The Growing Importance of the Black Sea

The geopolitical importance of the Black Sea region is increasing in the context of Russia’s war against Ukraine. ‘The Growing Importance of the Black Sea’ conference, organized jointly by the Media Programme South East Europe of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung and Sofia Security Forum, took place on 11-12 June 2024 in Varna, Bulgaria. It provided an opportunity for policymakers, military experts and media professionals from different countries from the region and Germany to meet and discuss these issues.

IPI World Congress and Media Innovation Festival
