From June 2 to 5, a delegation of four female hydrogen experts from Morocco, the United Arab Emirates, Egypt, and Oman was brought together in Berlin around the theme "German-Arab Hydrogen Partnerships" and to attend the 27th German-Arab Business Forum organized by the Ghorfa Arab-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

During their visit, the experts engaged in in-depth discussions with prominent German stakeholders, including Oliver Grundmann, Member of the German Bundestag, representatives from the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action, the BDI (Bundesverband der Deutschen Industrie), and the BDEW (Bundesverband der Energie- und Wasserwirtschaft). The central theme of these discussions was exploring potential partnerships and cooperation opportunities in the hydrogen sector between Germany and the MENA countries.

The delegation members Sausan Al Riyami from the Oman Hydrogen Center and Nadia Zeddou from Green Wave Morocco also actively contributed to the Arab-German Business Forum, highlighting their thematic expertise and representing female leadership in the energy transition and sustainable energy cooperation.

The primary aim of the delegation's visit was to enhance mutual understanding of priorities and recent developments in the hydrogen field. Additionally, it sought to identify concrete opportunities for German-Arab cooperation in the hydrogen sector. By focusing on female expertise, the program highlighted the crucial role of women in the hydrogen sector within the Arab and German business landscapes and aimed to foster networks for future cooperation.
