Recommendations for Improvement of Public Services: Collaboration for Thailand’s Better Road Safety

Project on Open and Innovative Government in Thailand

To mobilise the Open Government in Thailand more effectively, inclusively and continuously, the Office of the Public Sector Development Commission or OPDC organised a series of workshops and hackathon event last year to improve the public services and performance of the public sector. The focal topic this time was how to increase road safety in Thailand through the innovative and sustainable methods in order to reduce damage to life and property which has also affected the social and economic development of the country as a whole.

Summary of Policy Recommendations from the Hackathon herunterladen

The activities harvested opinions and recommendations from the public who registered to participate in the event. The recommendations gained from the hackathon had passed the brainstorming and pitching session between the representing officials from each Thai state agency contributing to the event and the participants.
