Country reports
The 104-pages’ publication offers concise and practically-oriented information on three major issues:
- what is the structure of the European Union;
- how main EU institutions work, and
- how to work with press services of EU institutions.
The guidebook portrays situation in the EU bodies as of February 2010 and, therefore, reflects all changes connected with the introduction of the Lisbon Treaty on December 1, 2009, and approval of the new European Commission, which was announced on February 9, 2010.
The guidebook was published in two languages: Belarusian (500 copies) and Russian (200 copies). In addition to the printed pocket-size book, journalists can turn to useful account its 48-page A4-size electronic version, which can be downloaded free of charge as a pdf file and printed out with help of one’s home or office printer.
The electronic copy of the guidebook is available on the website of the online photo- and audiovisual library, devoted to relations of European Union and Belarus:
- in Belarusian and
- in Russian language.
