This accessibility statement applies to the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung e. V. website published at www.kas.de.  

  

As a public body within the meaning of Directive (EU) 2016/2102, we endeavour to make our websites and mobile applications accessible in accordance with the provisions of the Federal Disability Equality Act (BGG) and the Accessible Information Technology Ordinance (BITV 2.0) for the implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102.  

  

Status of compatibility with the requirements  

The accessibility requirements result from Sections 3 (1) to (4) and Section 4 of BITV 2.0, which was issued based on Section 12d

BGG.  

The review of compliance with the requirements is based on an assessment carried out by an external provider in November 2023.  

Based on the review, the website is only partially compliant with the aforementioned requirements due to the following incompatibilities. For these reasons, the content listed below is not yet accessible:

  • Information, structure and relationships are identifiable (1.3.1)  
  • Meaningful reading order is given (1.3.2)  
  • Colour is not the only information carrier (1.4.1)  
  • Keyboard operability is given (2.1.1)  
  • Focus sequence is appropriate to the task (2.4.3)  
  • Pointer entries can be cancelled or revoked (2.5.2)  
  • Label contains visible labelling (2.5.3)  
  • Error messages are available in text form (3.3.1)  
  • Labels contain input instructions (3.3.2)  
  • Syntax specifications are fulfilled (4.1.1)  
  • Name, role and value are identifiable (4.1.2)  
  • Feedback mechanism is available (A.2)  
  • Sign language video is available (A.4)
