Dr. Jan Cernicky
Head of the Economy and Innovation Department
Dr Jan Cernicky studied political science and philosophy in Hanover and Paris and completed his doctorate on regional integration processes in West Africa. He worked for the Africa Research Service as a business consultant for SMEs with economic interests in Africa. From 2015, he was head of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung's foreign offices in the DR Congo and Kenya. From 2020, Mr Cernicky was responsible for international trade and business at the headquarters of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, and since 2022 he has been Head of the Economy and Innovation Department.
