Single title
The chapters, which are written by high ranking legal representatives of their countries, present central elements of the countries’ constitutions, legal norms and institutions. Moreover, the authors point to problems in the process of implementation of the rule of law and they discuss possible solutions to overcome these problems. After a comparative analysis by the research group “Governance” at the University of Duisburg-Essen, headed by Prof. Dr. Dr. Karl-Rudolf Korte, the KAS-Democracy Report 2006 gives an overview about the global rule of law-programmes of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation. With a preface by KAS’s Secretary General, Wilhelm Staudacher.
The KAS Democracy Report 2006 “Rule of Law” is published by Bouvier Publishing Co., Bonn. It is available in bookstores from November 2006. ISBN: 3-416-03160-1, 391 S.
