Discussion

Ways to make Germany‘s foreign policy stronger: Four perspectives from around the globe

Panel discussion and presentation of the study “Key Regional Players in the New Global Order”

Today more than ever, Germany and the European Union need reliable partners. However, in a geopolitically fragmented world characterized by global power shifts, it is a challenge to build stable and mutually attractive partnerships. A joint study by the German Institute for International and Security Affairs and the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung looked at four selected countries from the perspective of (potential) partner countries and their foreign policy positions: their own interests, specific dependencies, foreign policy traditions, integration into regional orders and much more.
