2024 and boring: That doesn't sound right!
The Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung Baltic States, in cooperation with the Johan Skytte Institute of Political Studies at the University of Tartu and the Goethe Institute, invites you to an exciting discussion: „Why Europe matters? – Does my voice count?“ on April 29th at 5:00 PM at TYPA, Kastani 48f, Tartu.
2024 will be a significant year for Europe. War in Ukraine, elections in the US, elections to the European Parliament. All of these are global events. However, when it comes to the latter, the people in Europe themselves have the ability to shape the future!
Or is all of this nonsense? Does Europe still have any significance? We will discuss all of this – and much more – with the following guests: Tobias Winkler, Member of the German Bundestag, Ms. Maili Vilson, Deputy Director for Academic Affairs of the Johan Skytte Institute, and Dr. Stefano Braghiroli, Associate Professor of European Studies.
