Lessons from the Enhanced Forward Presence, 2017-2020 downloadBorn out of necessity, the eFP model is arguably the most important military and political innovation in ensuring NATO’s sustainability, flexibility and relevance since the end of the Cold War. For Framework Nations, such as Canada, to sustain their commitment to the eFP, it is important to consider and effectively communicate the objective and progress of the mission. Almost four years into this deployment, it is an opportune moment to step back to reflect on what has been learned so far from the eFP experiment.
To this end, MLI is pleased to host a webinar launch for a new volume released by the NATO Defense College, titled Lessons from the Enhanced Forward Presence, 2017-2020. This important publication, with contributions from experts from across the transatlantic, is edited by Alexander Lanoszka and MLI senior fellows Alex Moens and Christian Leuprecht.
