In this publication we have put together ten chapters whose themes have been selected in order to offer readers an overview of some of the main issues, highlighting the high relevance of holding the meeting on Brazilian soil. These topics are: the importance of Brazil's presidency of the G20, the fight against hunger and poverty, the sustainable development agenda and tackling climate change, the Finance Track and the Sherpas Track, the African Union's accession to the G20 at last year's meeting in Delhi, the challenges and opportunities facing the host city of the G20 meeting, the crisis in multilateral and multilateral institutions and expectations about the possible results that could be achieved at the end of the meeting.
