In particular the size, the financing and the governance model are crucial aspects of the would-be instrument. In May 2018, the European Commission made its proposal for a stabilisation capacity within the scope of the Multiannual Financial Framework. In the 11th instalment of the "BDI-KAS Working Group on the Economic and Monetary Union" we will discuss the Commission’s and other proposals. This session will be chaired by Klaus Günter Deutsch (Head of Department 'Research, Industrial and Economic Policy', BDI) and Hardy Ostry (Head of the European Office of KAS).
