YOUNG EUROPEANS DEBATING

COMMUNITY-BUILDING, OWNERSHIP AND DEMOCRATIC RENEWAL IN TIMES OF POLITICAL UNCERTAINTY

Moreover, the notion of what it means to be a democracy and the future of the ‘West’ is further endangered as people continue to lose faith in democratic values, while political leaders are increasingly unable to communicate the very meaning of those values. At this crucial moment, we need new and innovative approaches and a vibrant community of young leaders and ambassadors to debate solutions, connect the dots in a shifting landscape, and act as shapers of the future who ensure the robustness of our democracies for tomorrow.

In cooperation with YATA, the Youth Atlantic Treaty Association, the European Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung puts this idea into practice and offers young professionals a platform for debate, generating input for their daily work in the European environment and building a community of people involved in the discussions on international security policies. Join us for this event at the European Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung from 08.30 to 10.00 am, have a say and become part of our Young European Debating network. Breakfast for all early birds will be provided.
