If the European Union (EU)intends to be a global leader in economic and technical terms, it has to provide incentives to young entrepreneurs. How can the EU foster
innovative technologies to improve its competitive position? What will be the role of policy makers, traditional industries and start-ups in this process? What challenges and risks does Europe have to encounter? These were some of the questions addressed during the panel discussion and at two previous workshops. ‘Think Digital!’ is organized jointly by the European Office of the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung (KAS), Google, Siemens and ZVEI (German Electrical and Electronic Manufacturers’ Association).
