Symposium
Details
The establishment of a company law in China in 1993 was an important step in the process of reform and opening up of China. The last revision of the company law was carried out in 2005. Another reform is now required due to the enormous changes in the company sector over the last years. The German corporate law served as an example for the current regulations.
Therefore the KAS | Shanghai together with the SASS organises an international symposium on November 17th/18th, where the required reforms of the existing corporate law regulations are discussed. Subject of the discussion will be among others, simplifying the founding and organisation of companies. Moreover, the improvement of the procedural law for legal disputes as well as regulations for the internal organisation of state-owned enterprises (corporate governance) will be topics of the symposium. German experiences will be brought into the debate through the participation of renowned German legal experts.
