Details

Energy Supply and Energy Security are core elements in International Relations. Geostrategic conflicts are often caused by issues of access and transport of (mostly) fossil fuels. At the same time, Germany, China and the USA face different challenges.

What are major challenges and prospects? Which options of cooperation are feasible and how can new conflicts be prevented? How to deal with different interests and values in a constructive and peaceful way?

The ongoing weakness of the Eurozone and the gradual expansion of the Renminbi in International trade shows that the International monetary system requires further reform steps. Here as well, China, the USA and Europe depend on an increased cooperation.

Within the frame of a public panel discussion, high-ranked experts from Germany, China and the USA will debate on these two topics. Co-organiser is Global Bridges, which is an influential network of German politicians and economic representatives.

This event will be open for public.
