In a moderated discussion Dr. Schäuble will speak about economic and fiscal challenges in 2016. Dr. Schäuble has acted as head of several ministries and has shaped major development processes in Germany and Europe in the past decades.
The year 2016 provides challenges for Europe, but also for China and the Asia-Pacific region. Europe faces major challenges for the integration process, but also many countries in the world face the pressing task to implement larger economic reform measures. Single countries and multilateral coalitions such as the G20 can set up the framework for these processes. Dr. Wolfgang Schäuble will point out opportunities to overcome difficulties and possibilities for the future development.
