Together with Sichuan University (CAE) and Shanghai International CONSTELLATIONS, KAS Shanghai is organizing two “IdeaLabs” during March and June 2014. During this period of time all projects will closely coached and advised by external experts on how to develop and implement their "business plans".
Currently, „Urban Campus“ includes the following projects:
- Team "Happy recycling": development of educational programs and of identification marks on the packaging of goods to advise the consumers of the required waste-separation and to inform them about an awareness of the cycle of materials and component substances.
- Team "Sustainable Citizens Hub": development of a deep-learning circle, also known as an intensive way of learning, to create a network of disseminators dealing with issues of sustainability and enhancing knowledge of urban communities.
- Team "Consumactors 'Alliance': to ensure a close relation between producers and rural consumers of organic food in order to achieve a system of quality standards and advanced marketing opportunities.
- Team "Sustainable Campus": to analyze the behavior of students on the campus of Sichuan University and to develop basic approaches for the implementation of a "green campus".
