One of the latest publications of KAS regional program Climate Policy and Energy Security in Sub-Saharan Africa, "The state of biofuels production Cameroon Policy-recommendation" was presented on the 22th of August 2018 at the Hilton Hotel in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
Among the distinguished guests present at the book launch were representatives of the government, of International Organizations, Judges, members of the Academic Body and students.
The bilingual publication is the result of a study of the technical and regulatory review and analysis of biofuels production in Cameroon. Through stakeholder consultations a set of recommendations is proposed to the country to frame and guide the sustainable production of biofuels, insuring that issues such as food security, water resources and land ownership are very well taken into consideration.
