Donation of books to universities of Cameroon
The Konrad Adenauer Stiftung has visited Cameroonian Universities to present some of its latest publications.
Following books were presented and donated to students:
- Environmental Law and Policy in Cameroon: prefaced by the Minister of Environment of Cameroon, His Excellency Hele Piere
- The state of biofuels in Cameroon
- Social and Environmental Responsibility of companies in Cameroon
- Science, economics and climate change policy A guide for policymakers in Cameroon
Konrad Adenauer Stiftung actively supports education through concrete and targeted actions in order to help strengthening the educational environment and the students fulfillment. Therefore, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung regional program for Climate Policy and Energy Security visited Enam in Yaoundé, the University of Douala, the University of Dschang and the University of Mountains in Bangangté. Visits to the Universities of Ngaoundere and Maroua, to also distribute books to students, are scheduled.
Through this action, Konrad Adenauer Stiftung aims to sensitize young people more on current topics such as climate change, renewable energies, and especially the place of Cameroon in this progress towards sustainable development.
