On Wednesday, 30 May 2018, the Catholic University of Central Africa organised an interactive discussion with hundreds of students, experts and entrepreneurs on the issue of promoting entrepreneurship and incubators for development in Cameroon. A high level discussion panel was chaired and moderated by Mgr. Joseph Marie Ndi Okalla, Bishop of Mbalmayo. The Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Cameroon, Prof. Dr. Oliver Ruppel was also a member of the discussion panel together with Cameroonian experts and entrepreneurs. During this official event, the Minister of Small and Medium Enterprises, Social Economy and Handicrafts, Dr. Laurent Serge Etoundi Ngoa together with Fr. Dr. Epiphane Kinhoun SJ, Vice-Rector, Catholic University of Central Africa and Prof. Dr. Oliver Ruppel, the Director of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation presented the new KAS book publication on “the Issue of Corporate Social and Environmental Responsibility - African Perspective, Case of Cameroon”. The KAS publication, which was co-edited by Prof. Ruppel and Dr. Kinhoun and which contains contributions in both French and English language, was distributed widely to those present at the event. The Minister commended the publication which will contribute towards more corporate social and environmental responsibility and entrepreneurial integrity in Cameroon.
