To contribute for facing the climatic and geopolitical challenges of the Latin American energy integration, and as a follow-up to the debates held at the international conference organized in partnership between the Regional Programme Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (EKLA-KAS) and the Brazilian Centre for International Relations (CEBRI), with the support of the Asociación Civil de Estudios Populares (ACEP), we have organised this publication, intended to present an overview of the main topics discussed.
Based on the opinions of experts that participated in this project and focusing on Latin America, we invite you all to consider the many challenges to be overcome in order to optimise the rational use of energy resources in an integrated manner and to ensure access to energy for all citizens.
