The world today lives an environmental challenge to lower greenhouse gases emissions in a context of population growth requiring higher energy consumption. This is an essential stage for the survival of the planet. The year 2015 is key to take decisions and change habits for a low carbon future in the world.
On November 5, in Rio de Janeiro, the Regional Programme Energy Security and Climate Change in Latin America of the Konrad Adenauer Foundation (EKLA-KAS) will host a panel on “Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency”. Click here to see the agenda.
The event will include a technical conference for experts from Brazil and the European Union, and free activities from 30 October to 6 November 2015 that will be completely free and open to the public, with informative, cultural, recreational and interactive exhibits about the impacts of climate change, the solutions and opportunities.
