Details
Peruvian and other Latin American cities will meet on May 27 to discuss the issue of sustainability in a conference held by KAS, INICAM and CDP.
At the conference, adaptation strategies at local and regional level in Peru will be presented, focusing on policy instruments and financing activities. There will be a panel dedicated to water security in Latin America and how the national water resources plans are executed at the city level.
In the context of climate change mitigation, strategies and actions implemented at the municipal level will be discussed. We propose an exchange of international experiences, with the purpose of advancing the theme of urban climate governance in Latin America.
