The Amazon, one of the richest areas of the planet, both biodiversity and multiculturalism, but also one of the most affected by global warming and social exclusion. Deforestation, extinction of species and cultures, threatening the Amazon, where most of the population still has no access to education and basic public services.
In order to discuss key issues for sustainable development of Amazon Rainforest, Fab Lab Peru and EKLA - KAS, are pleased to invite you to attend the Conference | Workshop "FAB LAB Floating Amazon: Challenges and Opportunities", to be held on 09 and 10 November 8: 00-18: 00 in Lima.
Fab Lab Floating Amazonas is a project that involves the creation of a digital fabrication laboratory (Fab Lab) sailing down the Amazon River, is a new vision on alternatives to the major challenges of today's world: climate change and inclusion social, integrating the most advanced digital manufacturing with the potential of cultural and natural diversity of the Amazon territory technologies.
