On August 18, the Pavilion "OliAle" of the German Consulate General in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, received hundreds of visitors, joining a German federal deputy, environmental secretaries of two Brazilian capitals, political scientists, lawyers, journalists and other experts discussed issues such as climate change and political education. The Konrad Adenauer Foundation (KAS) organized the day's schedule, which consisted of interactive activities focusing on projects in the main areas of activity of the institution. Over 1300 people participated in the activities and were able to learn a little more about the work of the KAS on Brazilian soil since 1969.

In one of the panels, organized with the support of EKLA-KAS, the public took part in an interactive quiz on "Cities of the Future: Urban Responses to Climate Change" with the secretaries of Environment of Rio Branco, Silvia Brilhante, and of Cuiaba, Alan Porto, both members of the CB27 Forum, and the head of the Department of Sustainable Development of Pudahuel, a Chilean commune, Antonio Abarca.
