The Konrad Adenauer Foundation in Brazil (KAS) and the Brazilian Center for International Relations (CEBRI), with the support of the Delegation of the European Union in Brazil, would like to invite you to the X International Security Conference of Forte de Copacabana which will take place on November 29th in the Hotel Windsor Atlântica in Rio de Janeiro. This yearly event will take place for the tenth time and will be entitled with “Brazil Emerging in the Global Security Order”.
The conference will examine topics of international security of common interest for Brazil and Europe, pointing out possible cooperation’s and common challenges. Traditionally the event counts with contributions from high ranked government functionaries, politicians, members of civil society and academics.
Through lectures and panels will be reflected how Brazil sees its position in the international system, which are the Brazilian aspirations regarding current changes in the international order and the way in which the country thinks about its regional and global actions on medium and long term.
The conference takes place in english and portuguese. Participation certificates available after the event.

To secure your place, please send your complete name, institution and position to kasbrasil@kas.de until November 28th until 4pm. Your inscription will only be valid after you receive a confirmation, which depends on the remaining availability of places.
