The Oxford German Forum 2016 aims to:

  • Unite leading experts from Britain, Germany and the European Union in order to explore the different strategies, attitudes, and risks associated with Brexit. What are the challenges, and how can we deal with them to ensure Europe's as well as the UK’s competitiveness and prosperity in the 21st century?
  • Provide a comprehensive overview on the current state of defence and security policy, trade developments and negotiations, as well as migration policy.
  • Engage students from one of Europe’s most prestigious universities, the University of Oxford, in these debates and provide them with the platform for discussion with active policy-makers and academics.
