What is the future for European energy security?

It was Russian President Putin’s hope that the West would acquiesce in the attack on Ukraine because of the dependency of leading European countries on energy supplies from Russia. So far this hope has been disappointed.

At this online event we will review the differing energy situations among EU members and ask whether EU unity towards Russia can be maintained. We will also review the position of the UK on these issues.

How does the dependency on Russian energy differ among various European countries? Will the war in Ukraine lead to a re-orientation of energy policy? These will be among the questions addressed by our expert speakers.
