During a visit of the Mahindra World City SEZ

The delegation was led by Gottfried Ludewig. Other participants were Stefan Evers, Danny Freymark, Stephan Lenz and Tim-Christopher Zeelen, all members of the Berlin House of representatives. A central issue during the exchange between German and Indian representatives was the latest parliamentary elections. Furthermore, the representatives discussed possible cooperation at the Federal State level and possible town twinning between Delhi and Berlin with their Indian counterparts.

Moreover, a conference on regional urban development took place in Jaipur in cooperation with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). At the sidelines there were discussions with the former Indian Union Minister of State, External Affairs and current CM of Rajasthan, Vasundhara Raje Scindia on Infrastructure as well as a discussion on cultural exchange with MLA and princess of Jaipur, Diya Kumari. The members of the Berlin House of Representatives were also visiting a SEZ in Jaipur to witness how the trade between India and foreign investors can be facilitated in India itself.
