Besides young parliamentarians of the Indian National Congress and BJP-representatives, the delegation met also the General Secretary of the Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD), Jayant Chaudhary. The German delegation and the Indian dialogue partners, amongst others Pawan Khera, political secretary to Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit, agreed upon a meeting at the Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) and a meeting with young members of the INC, that the obvious changes in the holding of election campaigns need the voluntary engagement of the young generation. One of the challenges for the parties in a modern, democratic party-system is the use of new media. MdB Mißfelder answered questions of young members of the INC regarding his personal experiences as chairperson of the CDU/CSU youth wing „Junge Union“ as one of the biggest European youth organizations.

Besides the meeting with German Ambassador Michael Steiner, MdB Mißfelder met the former Minister of State for Defence and current Cabinet Minister of India for Human Resources Development, Dr. M. M. Pallam Raju (Indian National Congress). They discussed amongst others the parameters of the labor market policies and the German model of vocational training.

During the Interview with „The Statesman“, a national English newspaper, MdB Mißfelder commented positively on the chance of further intensive bilateral cooperation between Germany and India in the areas of economy, investment and trade which are chased extensively by the German Government. During a meeting with representatives of the economy, i.e. vice president of TATA, Sanjay Singh, MdB Mißfelder explained that the German economic engagement toward India shows a similar potential as the trade with China, but guarantees and legal compliances for the German investors would be essential.
