African Journalism Education Network 2024

On 26 August 2024, Ajen will hold its second gathering in Nairobi, Kenya, at the Aga Khan University, home of the Graduate School of Media and Communications. The conference will explore topics such as sustainable journalism in practice and teaching climate change at journalism schools. Artificial Intelligence (AI), which has become pervasive, will also feature as part of the agenda in hopes to include it in curricula as well as employ it in practice.

This gathering of the greatest minds in journalism education in Africa is sure to create space for critical dialogue that will advance the quality of journalism curricula, graduates, and practitioners at large.
